Stained Glass MosaicAdult Sports / EnrichmentLearn to create a beautiful piece of mosaic art using stained glass. The finished pieces will be approximately 11”x14". You'll start by picking or creating patterns. The instructor will contact you a week before to discuss your inspiration for your piece so the design can be drafted before the class starts, or you can use instructor ideas that you can choose from the day of the class. You will learn how to safely cut glass to create tiles, how to lay your tiles to accentuate your design, and how to glue, grout and finish your design! All of the tools and supplies for your piece are included in the price, as well as a mid-day lunch to be held in the space above the glass studio.This is a great activity to do with a group of family members or friends! Please be sure to dress appropriately for getting dirty and being on your feet for an extended period of time.Winter 2025

Guided by Cathy Tordsen & Rachel Eckman, the Royalton District Art teachers, you'll learn essential techniques, including centering clay, shaping forms, and glazing clay, to create bowls, mugs, and vases. Through personalized instruction and ample practice, gain confidence in working with the wheel while exploring creative expression in a supportive studio environment. Ideal for those looking to unwind, get creative, and produce beautiful, functional pieces to take home. All materials (including 8 pounds of clay) and firing services included. Beginner Pickleball Session 2Adult Sports / EnrichmentJoin in the fun of pickleball! Pickleball is America's fastest growing sport. It's played on a court similar to a badminton court and can be played on an altered tennis or basketball court. The rules are simple, the game is easy for beginners to learn, and it is a sport that is created for all ages and all skill levels. It is played with wood or composite paddles that are used to hit a perforated plastic baseball comparable to a wiffleball. The game of pickleball can help you stay active and healthy while providing hours of social entertainment and enjoyment. All nights will be pick up pickleball games so no partner is required. Balls and nets will be provided, participants will need to bring their own Pickleball paddle.Winter 2025

Spring Hanging Basket PlantingAdult Sports / EnrichmentIn this hands-on class, RHS Greenhouse Management students will take the lead in teaching class participants the art of designing and planting beautiful seasonal hanging baskets. Students will demonstrate how to select the right plants, prepare the soil, and use creative techniques to craft stunning baskets. Participants will also learn essential tips for caring for and maintaining their baskets throughout the spring. Completed hanging baskets will be cared for by Greenhouse Management students until they are ready to be picked up at the Greenhouse Plant sale in early May.Winter 2025
