Screening in early childhood supports children's readiness for kindergarten and promotes positive child health and developmental outcomes. You can register for screening when your child is between 3.5 and 4 years of age with Royalton Public Schools via our online portal. If you have concerns about your child's development, feel free to call and schedule this screening earlier. Writing Short Stories: A Beginner’s GuideAdult Sports / EnrichmentWriting short stories (1,000–30,000 words) helps you discover your writing voice and how to convey your ideas. You’ll learn how to bring your story to life with an engaging plot, as well as character development, action, and dialogue. You’ll also learn the technical parts of crafting a short story, including structure, important character moments, and progression in the story. You’ll also know what to do with your short story once completed, including editing, proofing, and publishing options. The instructor LeeAnne Krusemark is a former journalist, current author and editor, and a nationwide Professor of Publishing at higher learning institutions, including Harvard Adult Education. Yoga Spring SessionAdult Sports / EnrichmentUnwind from your day with this 60-minute all-levels yoga class designed to calm the body and quiet the mind. Each session includes traditional asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathwork), and dhyana (meditation) to support physical well-being and inner balance. Participants should be able to transition from standing to seated positions independently. No prior yoga experience is necessary—just bring your breath, your body, and an open heart. Please arrive a few minutes early to set up your space. There are limited yoga mats and blocks available. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 24.Winter 2026 -

Students will practice tricks that pro filmmakers use for better shots, lighting, and sounds. They will receive hands-on experience editing videos, adding transitions, and inserting a soundtrack. The finished product can be shared with family and friends! Home Technical Requirements: ●Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM ●Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones DO NOT Work. ●Internet: Broadband internet ●Webcam, Microphone and Speakers ●Zoom Installed on Computer, zoom link will be sent before class. ●Students should be comfortable using a PC, mouse, and keyboard.
