On My Own (Grades 3-5)

A staying home alone class will be conducted for boys and girls in grades 3 through 5 who are now or plan to stay home on their own. Topics to be discussed include: emergency situations, first aid, checklist before you stay alone the first time, kitchen safety, fire safety, making a 911 call, internet safety and more. We will make a home fire escape plan, review questions to ask with parents before staying home alone, and many more activities. Includes a light snack.
