This is an excellent opportunity for students to enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through this exciting hands-on experience. Practices are held on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the MS/HS Commons and begins Monday September 23rd. There will be opportunities to compete at local area VEX IQ tournaments on Saturdays, with those dates to be determined. Additional practices may be added as needed Class registrations are limited per grade level. Whether you’re a beginner seasoned at crocheting, this workshop promises a warm and unforgettable crafting experience. You will leave with your own handcrafted chunky blanket to snuggle up with. Basic Adult and Pediatric First Aid with CPRYouth Sports / EnrichmentWhether you have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or if you have the desire to learn the techniques of CPR and the use of an AED - this course is for you. This instructor-led course teaches adult, child and infant CPR/AED as well as choking management. The American Heart Association certification lasts two years. The general public and anyone interested in learning CPR may take this class. This course is not intended for healthcare providers. This class will consist of two, two hour long sessions where students will get to design and sculpt their project during the first class and come back for a second day to glaze and complete their piece.
